About Tina
I am a highly organized, self- motivated music teacher who pays attention to detail. I have alot of experience organizing music concerts and performances throughout my studies and for the past 1 year 2months, I have been working as a peripatetic piano and guitar teacher. I also recently worked under an NGO called Modzi Arts as a piano and guitar teacher, and freelanced at Ngoma Dolce music academy. I have solid understanding of music concepts and I am very comfortable teaching the concepts, as well as performance, composition, writing and reading music, and listening skills. I am also familiar with music notation softwares such as Noteworthy and Finale. I play piano, classical guitar, marimba, saxophone, recorder, and I am familiar with the violin. Throughout my teaching experience, my objective has been to help students reach their highest potential and gain understanding of music both theoretically and practically. I believe music can be used as a medium for one to express himself/ herself.
